Let me introduce you to The ILLZ, an up-and-coming Dominican-born New Jersey-raised MC who brings heat with his real lyrical prowess. On his website, The ILLZ is described as a rarity; I quote:
"In a world dominated by party songs and dance gimmicks, drug dealing and murder raps, and those claiming to bring the hood and lyrics back to the game, there isn’t much room left for the Hip-Hop artist with substance. Few have succeeded in delivering a message and still appealing to the masses. It takes a certain breed of MC to make his opinion heard and do so in a way, that even if the listener doesn’t understand, they will still feel the music.
